Having seen a post on Facebook and knowing i was near by for my holiday, so decided I liked the pattern in the window and would like to purchase it.
The shop was laid out beautiful and easy to find things, plus the ladies were so helpful cheerful full of smiles .
A great visit and will definitely go again next year .

Have to admit I haven’t knitted this yet but the Christmas yarn is always stunning and sparkly. Good service from this shop as always.

Although I haven’tspun this yet, the fibre from here is always good quality. The service is exceptional, I ordered over the weekend, I went to pick up shortly after the shop opened and my order was ready and waiting!

I did the drop spindle workshop with Rachel a couple of months ago. We had a thorough overview of all the basics and lots of space and encouragement to get us started with our new spindles. We also had roving to take home to continue practising. However, after a few days I was feeling discouraged with my efforts that looked more like earthworms than knitting wool!

However, after a visit to a yarn fair in Cornwall where I bumped into Rachel again. With her encouragement I decided to give it one more go.

With a new Turkish spindle and a braid of roving, I decided to practise each day and give up after finishing the braid if I didn’t crack it… I did!!!

So DO take this really great class… and be prepared to practise afterwards. You will get there!

This book is ideal for with many patterns which I’m sure I will knit! I would recommend it to anyone looking for patterns which are easy!

It’s absolutely beautiful. Almost spun itself into a soft squishy skein. Now what to do with it.

Beautiful yarn. Colour is deep and uniform, texture soft, easy to knit with. Just gorgeous and well worth the money.

These are great, and the service from Wool on the Exe was excellent - my first time popping in and I will be back many times for sure! So helpful, so interested in what I’m knitting currently, and looks like there’s a load of cool classes on to take!

I purchase this to keep me occupied on the train ride home. Lovely soft wool and easy to work with. I followed one of the free patterns on wool on the exe website. Debbie helped me find the right sized needles. I’m really pleased with how the cowl turned out

I love this shop for all my knitting supplies, staff are very helpful, knowledgeable and kind.

I ordered the buttons on line and iwas very pleased with them when they finally arrived a week after I had ordered them. This was due to the inefficiency of the local Post Office that Wool on the Exe use. Despite paying postage when I placed the order I was charged a fee because the amount of postage on the packet was insufficient. This in no way reflects on Wool on the Exe but maybe use a more efficient Post Office.

This yarn knits well and doesn’t split

I used the wool to knit a stranded baby outfit. The yarn was smooth, with no imperfections, making knitting with it a pleasure.
