There is so much to love with weaving! In this workshop, we'll demystify the lingo and teach you how to warp the loom, weave either a small coaster or a bookmark, and finish it off with a hem stitch and knotted fringe. We'll have lots of yarn for inspiration!
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners and all materials will be supplied for your project. If you are interested in purchasing the loom, we can order them in for you.

About our workshops
Our workshops are designed to be a place where you can relax, learn, and have fun! They are held at our large table at the back of the shop and are limited to 5 participants. If a workshop is full, you can ask to be put on the waiting list.
If you need to cancel your booking, we require 7 full business days to issue you a refund. After that, we will only be able to offer a refund if someone else takes your place. Also, don't forget to put your workshop in your diary! We don't have a reminder system, and are sad when folks miss a booking.
I always love doing workshops with Debbie, and this was no exception. It was paced just right so that we could go at our own pace, allowing time to make mistakes and correct them, whilst achieving a finished bookmark.
I love mine so much I bought the beginners loom that we used so I can make more of them.
Weaving is a great process, and a wonderful way to be calm.
Spent an afternoon here weaving a bookmark. Debbie led the course and this was her first time teaching weaving. She showed us her own fabulous weaving and talked about the various looms that are available. She was very patient with each one of us…..I really appreciated that as I have never quite got my head around the hem stitch!
Courses here are always brilliant, it’s not like learning in a school situation, it’s like having a friend take your hand and guide you along the road.
