from 384 reviewsHad such a lovely afternoon with lovely ladies and such a knowledgable Debbie. Could recommend this workshop - Fair Isle knitting. Learnt so much. Thank you.
The colour combinations are so interesting making you want to keep going to see what is going to happen next. The yarn is beautifully soft & fine.
I love the fact that there are warm & cool reds - bright poppy red & cool raspberry red - plus lots of other colours. Ideal for little projects like crocheting leaves or flowers & I found the perfect colours to make a poppy brooch as there’s a nice clear solid black.
This yarn is easy to knit with and washes well. I have enjoyed making one sweater and am looking forward to working with this yarn again.
This yarn is a "random knit" collection of intense colours. I am working it in three stitches: blackberry, a Celtic knot/braid and moss stitch. The effects of each are completely different, but utterly delightful. I am enjoying working in this soft wool, and it will be warm to wear.
These are so easy for regular use, nothing sharp, they can't catch on your work and not hard on the fingers - very flexible and 2 useful sizes that fit most needle sizes.
A lovely mix of knitting and crochet patterns, plus a few extras - and great for proceeds to charity.
The eagerly-awaited follow-up to Wool on the Exe Book 1! Full of lovely patterns and inspiration from talented crafts people. Thank you all. Please may we have a book every year?
I have crocheted before but wanted a comprehensive guide to give me a proper foundation for starting projects. This book has been so useful, it contains everything you need to know. Would highly recommend!
Don’t tell anyone it’s going to be a Christmas present when there’s two and they are blocked.
Had a brilliant time with like minded people. A lovely atmosphere warm and kind. And Rebecca has a lot of patience and encouragement. I highly recommend this class as I am hoping to go to more in the New Year. And also the knowledge that was shared was priceless. Wishing you all a healthy and happy New Year.
Using this yarn for a 2 coloured Christmas jumper and it's knitting up beautifully. I live the little flex of colour within the main colour.
I’ve already marked 4 patterns to knit! This is a lovely book and patterns are easy to read a follow- very important
Lovely
Thus wool seems much softer than it used to be I’ve knitted with this make for years but this is a nice new experience Still fluffy and therefore warm
Full of exciting small projects, just right for winter knitting..
