In this workshop you will learn how to construct the 'corner to corner' crochet stitch. This technique, which isn't any more difficult than a granny square, starts in the corner and creates a unique texture due to the alternating direction of the stitches.
This is not a beginner workshop. You will need to have basic crochet skills to be successful.
All materials are provided on the day.

About our workshops
Our workshops are designed to be a place where you can relax, learn, and have fun! They are held at our large table at the back of the shop and are limited to 5 participants. If a workshop is full, you can ask to be put on the waiting list.
If you need to cancel your booking, we require 3 full business days to issue you a refund. After that, we will only be able to offer a refund if someone else takes your place. Also, don't forget to put your workshop in your diary! We don't have a reminder system, and are sad when folks miss a booking.
I had a lovely time at this workshop. The shop has a nice cosy vibe with tea and biscuits provided. Verity was a great teacher, and everyone was able to learn at their own pace. This crochet technique is relaxing and fun - I was inspired to make a blanket using the technique afterwards!
Attended this workshop yesterday 7th January. Can't say how much I enjoyed it. Verity has a real skill for teaching which combined with the unique Wool on the Exe atmosphere made the two hours go far too quickly.
The workshop was excellent. The technique creates a very nice texture. Verity is a great teacher - patient and encouraging.
As my first ever workshop I was slightly nervous that I wouldn't be experienced enough, especially as I was self-taught in most crochet patterns/stitches. Verity was extremely calm and explained everything. I was constantly checking if I was doing it right and Verity was always patient with me.
Since then my crochet skills have improved massively, so I just wanted to personally thank Verity and Wool on the Exe for the workshop
This was my second workshop at the Wool on the Exe which I think is an amazing asset to Exeter.
Verity is a great teacher - who is able to adapt her teaching to each individual in the group. She makes you feel comfortable to try something new, and then assists you when you need help, if you ask the same question again and again she is very patient. Now I just need to practice!
Looking forward to my next workshop.
Can not recommend it highly enough.
