About our workshops

Our workshops are designed to be a place where you can relax, learn, and have fun! They are held at our large table at the back of the shop and are limited to 5 participants. If a workshop is full, you can ask to be put on the waiting list.

If you need to cancel your booking, we require 3 full business days to issue you a refund. After that, we will only be able to offer a refund if someone else takes your place. Also, don't forget to put your workshop in your diary! We don't have a reminder system, and are sad when folks miss a booking.

Excellent workshop

I’ve tried knitting toe up socks but had no success. So when I saw this class come up, I decided to book a place. Elizabeth is an enthusiastic and patient teacher. A knitter who loves her craft! It is so much better to have someone there to help and encourage you when you can’t seem to quite understand something.
Would recommend this course to anyone who knits and wants to learn a new technique.
The shop is like a sweetie shop full of yarny goodness and is a warm and welcoming environment to be in.

What a brilliant way to spend an afternoon

I knitted a sock! It’s been one thing I’ve avoided for years but thanks to Elizabeth’s enthusiasm, clarity and buckets of patience a sock was achieved. Family beware - socks now will be provided. It was a great way to spend a very wet afternoon with other lovely people doing something so enjoyable. Thank you.

Excellent workshop!

What a fantastic workshop! Elizabeth was a fabulous, patient teacher and explained everything brilliantly. I thoroughly enjoyed my afternoon and came away able to knit socks from the toe up - something I’d been wanting to learn for a while. This workshop is highly recommended and I’m looking forward to putting my new skills to use. Thank you to Ella as well for the tea and biscuits 😉
