The perfect needle

Unlike Melanie, I have no problem at all with seeing my stitches on these needles (whether I have my specs on or not!), and I do, in life, usually struggle with differentiating colours from each other when they are closely matched/low contrast. I have knitted all sorts of colours on these needles, they've all been easy for me. Furthermore, the needles have enough grip that you don't have to worry about stitches falling off, but are smooth enough that as you're knitting around you don't need any effort at all to slip stitches up the needle - a dream to work with! And the tips taper perfectly; they go fine enough to pop the needle into your next stitch (or stitches) easily, and yet the taper is not dragged out for so long that your stitches end up too tight, like with other brands. I heartily recommend them!

Lovely to look at but.....

How on earth can one find one's stitches on such multicoloured pins?

And they say knitting is relaxing?!! One needs 20:20 vision!

Suggest you stick to white or bright yellow wool only.

Joking apart--have fun!

Hi Melanie, thank you for sharing your thoughts about the Knitpro double pointed needles. You're right about needing good eyesight for knitting. Good lighting is also important. I suppose if you were using a light colour yarn, you wouldn't have so much trouble. As for the needles themselves, they're strong, smooth and have very good tips. All features that make them a joy to use.
