A fine, single ply version of the heavier, worsted weight Loch Lomond. This delicate yarn has a British Tweed look. It is a woollen spun yarn which means it has a nice volume and at the same time a good long yardage. This results in very light garments and can be paired beautifully with our Kremke Soul Wool Silky Kid mohair/silk yarn.
Like all our BC Garn yarns Loch Lomond Lace is GOTS certfified, that means from sheep to dye stuff, from production to stock keeping and packing, each step is inspected carefully and in line with very strict organic and social standards.
The raw wool for Loch Lomond comes from mulesing-free farms in South America. It is spun and dyed in Turkey.

I haven’t knit with this yet just creating a swatch holding it with another yarn. Im confident in the results however since I already have a scarf on the DK version.
Soft and beautiful yarn. The colours I bought are vibrant and go well together - Petrol, Erika and Blue Green
I intent to use then for weaving.
