We've selected 42 colours of the iconic 2ply Jumper weight yarns from Jamieson & Smith. This yarn is 100% Shetland wool, and is traditionally used in the knitting of Fair Isle garments.
All the shades have been developed exclusively by Jamieson & Smith and cannot be imitated in terms of depth of colour and spinning quality. This yarn can also be used in patterns which call for "4ply or fingering weight yarn".
Really lovely yarn, and so many colours to chose from. Ella was very helpful as always in helping me choose the right two colour combination! I’ve just started and am delighted with the look and feel of the project so far.

Once you've done Fair Isle with this yarn you realise it really is the best option - it's unique in the way it knits up to show the pattern and the way it fuzzes together to make one coherent piece. Wool on the Exe have curated a lovely selection of colours from Jamieson's huge range - as a colour-lover I can confidently say there is no need to look elsewhere to pick out colours; the selection here matches beautifully together and I get all my Jamieson's here.
