Find & Foster Shropshire hand dyed wool

We're proud to be the exclusive dyer for Find & Fosters gorgeous Shropshire wool!  Did you know that Shropshire Sheep are the oldest pedigree registered breed in the UK? A true heritage sheep. But far from being old fashioned and outdated, their strengths make them absolutely ideal for sustainable farming. They thrive on pasture and have wool that is beautiful for hand knitting. And they are the “tree-friendly” breed, being able to graze tree plantations and orchards without damaging the trees, which is why the folks at Find & Foster raise them!

This yarn is gorgeous - it's woollen spun, bouncy and soft to the skin. It will make beautiful garments that will last a lifetime. 

We have a very limited supply at the moment, but will have more later this year after shearing and processing. If you fancy a colour dyed just for you, just give us a shout.
