These gorgeous brooches are hand made using new Merino wool in a wide range of colours to make felt, onto which appliqués of hand dyed silk velvet are added. Jackie then uses her sewing machine to draw decorative patterns in variegated threads to add the finishing touch. They are backed with Liberty cotton lawn and a sturdy pin. Each one is made with love and enjoyment and is unique.

Lovely brooch! I bought my mother one for Christmas. She was visiting us and truly enjoyed watching the sheep on the hills from our house. So this little brooch was a way for the sheep to stay with her when she 'd get back to France.
