Great way to spend two hours.

I spent a happy, peaceful two hours ( 20th Feb 2023) at this lovely woolly haven learning how to do this weaving. I thought it would be tricky learning this technique but we were very quickly creating a practice braid. We then moved on to create a key hanger. We took this home along with the braiding disk……am now off to look through my stash for cotton yarn to make some more. I think family and friends might be receiving braided items this year.
Thank you Debbie for organising and the coffee and cookies. Thank you Paula for your instructions and patience.

Fantastic workshop!

This is a fantastic workshop. I thought it may be complicated to learn this technique, but couldn’t have been more wrong! Within minutes of Paula showing us how to get started, we were creating our first braid. It was so easy, and extremely rewarding. We then made a lovely key hanger to take home, along with the braiding disk. This gave a great sense of achievement, as I went from knowing nothing at the beginning, to having a super completed project in 2 hours. This was an extremely enjoyable workshop, with superb tea and cookies. Thank you Debbie and Paula.

Great way to spend a morning

I've just come back from taking part in this workshop. It looked very complicated and I wondered if I would be able to manage. However, Paula took us through the steps clearly and patiently and in no time we were all producings braids. It is a beautiful craft with many different ways of using colour and endless uses for the completed braid.

Many thanks to Paula for the instruction, and thanks to Debbie for the tea and cookies!
