We're happy to welcome Lizzie Pettet-Smith of Daisy Chain Makes back for this autumn acorn garland workshop! You will learn how to make your own acorns and oak leaves, and with the pattern to make many more.

This autumnal garland has been crocheted using a beautiful selection of natural wools, including a hand-dyed yarn by Debbie for the acorn cap.

To be successful in the workshop, you should know how to confidently crochet the following stitches: slip stitch, double, half treble and treble crochet stitches. This is not a workshop for beginners or those with little experience with crochet.

Lizzie will be teaching how to work a magic circle and how to work in the round. She will also be teaching how to form the oak leaf shape to add to your garland. Together you’ll work through each component, and leave with the materials to finish off at home.

All materials will be supplied on the day, the pattern is crocheted using a 3.5mm hook so feel free to bring your own if you have a favourite.
