RiverKnits hand-dyed 4 ply

Becci and Markus, the amazing team behind RiverKnits, hand dye British wool yarns while travelling around the UK waterways on their narrowboat home and studio.

All RiverKnits yarn is hand dyed in their own studio. The colourways are often inspired by nature, wildlife and even industrial scenes that the boat passes through. You can see this in the rich, earthy hues and colourway names. The yarn is dyed in layers, which takes a long time, but  is worth it for the complex and subtle appearance.
