from 392 reviewsGreat traditional wool especially good for colour work. I started this project two years ago it’s been hibernating but I’m delighted to have recently finished.
Have to admit I use Addi Click interchangeable needles most of the time but, for the smaller needles not available for my set, these Knit Pro fixed circular needles are excellent, the cord behaves well and they seem very durable.
This has the most delightful variation of colour within the yarn itself - so appealing and giving a lovely sense of texture within the one colour. It’s such economical yarn too with a variety of colours & ‘types’ (e.g. some with tweedy flecks, others with tiny touches of variation creating what I describe as a heathery colour) of colour.
Bought this to knit a hat for Christmas. The colour is beautiful and this is a good yarn to knit with. Hoping my knitting will not let the yarn down🤞
I haven’t actually made anything yet it’s hard to choose. This is a great collection of patterns well put together.
Knits up lovely and garments last for years. Seems expensive but very good value per wear. My favourite yarn.
Pleased with the quality of this wool. Lovely choice of colours.
Had such a lovely afternoon with lovely ladies and such a knowledgable Debbie. Could recommend this workshop - Fair Isle knitting. Learnt so much. Thank you.
The colour combinations are so interesting making you want to keep going to see what is going to happen next. The yarn is beautifully soft & fine.
I love the fact that there are warm & cool reds - bright poppy red & cool raspberry red - plus lots of other colours. Ideal for little projects like crocheting leaves or flowers & I found the perfect colours to make a poppy brooch as there’s a nice clear solid black.
This yarn is easy to knit with and washes well. I have enjoyed making one sweater and am looking forward to working with this yarn again.
This yarn is a "random knit" collection of intense colours. I am working it in three stitches: blackberry, a Celtic knot/braid and moss stitch. The effects of each are completely different, but utterly delightful. I am enjoying working in this soft wool, and it will be warm to wear.
These are so easy for regular use, nothing sharp, they can't catch on your work and not hard on the fingers - very flexible and 2 useful sizes that fit most needle sizes.
A lovely mix of knitting and crochet patterns, plus a few extras - and great for proceeds to charity.
